Here's a guide to *herbal infusions (kadhas)* and *essential oils* based on different hair types and concerns. You can mix and match these with the BEDAG super shampoo base for a customized shampoo.

*Herbal Infusions (Kadha) for Hair Types & Issues*

*How to make kadha:*

Boil approximately 10 g of the dried herb in 400 ml water for 10–15 min, strain and cool. Add preservative maximum 0.2 % if you want to keep for long time.

Use cooled kadha and add distilled water to make mixture equal to super shampoo base.

Add Kadha Mixture to equal amount of Super Shampoo Base. Blending well until smooth

1. *For Hair Fall / Weak Roots : Following herbal ingredients are useful *

►   Amla (Indian Gooseberry)* – Strengthens hair, rich in Vitamin C

►   Bhringraj* – Stimulates hair growth

►   Fenugreek (Methi) seeds* – Prevents hair thinning, adds shine

2. *For Dandruff / Itchy Scalp: Following herbal ingredients are useful *

►   Neem leaves* – Antibacterial, reduces dandruff

►   Tulsi (Holy Basil)* – Soothes itchy, flaky scalp

►   Green tea* – Mild anti-inflammatory and antioxidant

3. *For Oily Scalp / Limp Hair: Following herbal ingredients are useful *

►   Lemon peel or juice* – Cuts excess oil

►   Rosemary* – Balances oil production and stimulates follicles

►   Hibiscus flower* – Light and mildly conditioning

4. *For Dry or Damaged Hair: Following herbal ingredients are useful *

►   Hibiscus leaves/flowers* – Adds natural conditioning

►   Aloe vera gel (fresh or boiled in water)* – Hydrates and softens

►   Shikakai (in small quantity)* – Natural cleanser without stripping oils

*Essential Oils Based on Hair Needs*

Hair Concern   :           Recommended Essential Oils (5–10 drops per 100g base) |

► Hair fall :                 Rosemary, Cedarwood, Lavender        

► Dandruff :                Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Peppermint  

► Dry Hair :                Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood 

► Oily Scalp :             Lemon, Grapefruit, Clary Sage 

► Frizz / Damage :     Argan (carrier), Lavender, Vetiver

► Itchy Scalp :            Chamomile, Tea Tree, Neem 

Example : Custom Recipe (Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo)

►   100 g BEDAG super shampoo base*

►   90<> 100 g Amla + Bhringraj kadha and distilled water*

►   5 drops Rosemary essential oil*

►   3 drops Cedarwood essential oil*

Add essential oils and fragrance of your choice in last to control scent; mix gently.

* Mix thoroughly and store in a pump bottle.
